Special Needs
The Southern England Wadokai Academy also specialises in teaching children with learning and behavioural problems such as autism and A.D.H.D.

Lesson Format
Beginner's classes are all run at a speed allowing everyone to progress at their own pace. All classes are explained to students in detail.

Most karate lessons follow a similar format with students learning all aspects of fitness, blocking, punching and kicking techniques from basic stances. Classes are then broken down to work on more specific areas such as defence and attack techniques with a partner, correct posture and body movement, and how to use the body to the best possible advantage.

Students are encouraged to ask their instructor about anything they are not sure of and to constantly evaluate their progress.

Instructors
All club instructors are fully insured and registered under Karate England, as well as being fully C.R.B police checked. All our instructors hold full coaching licenses within the Southern England Wadokai Academy
